T. G. Bharath (born 5 August 1977) is an Indian businessman and politician. He served as President of City Youth Congress for the city of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2013. He is also managing director and Chairman of Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited (SRHHL). T. G. Bharath is the founder and President of a youth-centric organization, TGB Youth Association, formed for community service.

Business Career[edit]

TG Bharath joined Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited in 1999 as chairman and managing director. Sree Rayalaseema Hi-Strength Hypo Limited manufactures high-strength calcium hypochlorite, used as a bleaching agent for water purification, sulphuric acid, chloro sulphonic acid, olieum, stable bleaching powder, monochloro acetic acid, sodium hydrate and sodium methoxide. He is also associated with power projects in the region, manufacturing animal vaccines, large-scale salt producing units, owns a multi-speciality hospital, movie theatres and star hotels, spread over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

Political Career[edit]

T.G. Bharath, who is contesting in the upcoming 2024 elections. He has been actively participating in politics since 1999 when his father entered politics. He has been described as among the wealthiest people in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh state in India.

President of TGB Youth Association[edit]

TG Bharath founded the association to discharge the corporate social responsibility of his company SRHHL. The association aims at enrolling youth volunteers to work on various community service areas, including awareness and development of socially backward classes, conservation of environment, helping old age homes, orphanages and supporting NGOs. TGB Youth association has recently collaborated with International Youth Empowerment Center, an NGO conducting mind education programmes and integration camps for students and youth.

Awards and Honors[edit]

TG Bharath was recently conferred the Business Excellence Award 2017 in the category of Manufacturing for his company SRHHL by 24-hour news channel Hyderabad Media House Limited HMTV.

Personal Life[edit]

He was born to T. G. Venkatesh and T. G. Swarajya Lakshmi Kumari on 5 August 1977 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, and is a MBA graduate. He married T. G. Shilpa Bharath on 9 February 2001. The couple have a daughter and a son, Shree Arya and Vibhu.

Education[edit]

Bharath has a master's degree in Business Administration from Cardiff University, Cardiff, Wales. He majored in Global Marketing Strategy and International Business. He acquired his schooling from Montessori School, Kurnool and graduated from Osmania College, Kurnool.
