Tamma Kotamma Reddy (born 1920) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. She is a first Women Member of the Legislative Assembly from Prathipadu Assembly Constituency in Guntur district. She represents Indian National Congress. She won the 1952 Madras State Legislative Assembly election.[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

Political career
Kotamma Reddy was first women Legislator elected in the 1952 Madras State Legislative Assembly election from Prathipadu Assembly Constituency representing the Indian National Congress.
Education Service
Smt Tamma Kotamma Reddy Polytechnic (Smt TKR Polytechnic) is a dream of an inspired group of eminent intellectuals in setting up an Institute that imparts quality Technical Education to youth in rural area. Smt TKR Polytechnic has been sponsored and established by The Hindu and High Branch School Society, Machilipatnam in the year 1987-88. The Hindu and High Branch School Society started under the designation of the Hindu Anglo and Vernacular School in 1856, a name which retained for many years. With the Passage of time, the school gradually developed, and the Society changed its name as The Hindu and High Branch School Society by which name it was registered in the year 1896.[6] [7]
