Tour-De-Force Power Engineering LTD, most well known as TDF, is a British motorsport engineering company. It was founded in 2009 by Matt Faulks, with the purpose of providing high performance Formula One related engineering services and is responsible for many of the operational privately owned Formula One cars in use today.[1]. The company also provides services to low volume road/sports car manufacturers having assisted with the development of the BAC Mono. It is thought to have involvement with a number of Formula One teams but has never commented directly on this aspect of its activities.
Ex-Formula One Cars
TDF has been responsible for returning over 30 ex Formula One cars to use since 2009 with the majority of these cars built at their Bedford factory. The company is known for designing and manufacturing a large number of the required components in house. Formula One cars rebuilt by TDF are known to include:

Heritage HF1-018 Track Day Car
In 2018 Heritage F1 launched the HF1-018 Formula One based track day car [4], which is marketed by Heritage F1 as the fastest track day car in the world. The car was designed and built by TDF and is based on a 2011 Sauber C30. The car retains the original Sauber chassis, front suspension and aerodynamics but is powered by a small capacity turbo charged stressed engine to relate the older chassis more closely with the current era of Formula One cars. It is not believed to have a KERS system fitted but appeared at the 2018 Silverstone Classic with a DRS rear wing.
Other Projects
As well as Formula One cars TDF work with hill climb, sprint and circuit racing cars and provide support and engineering services to road car and racing car manufacturers such as BAC and Palmersport. TDF has also provided development and engineering services to allow disabled drivers to compete in modern and historic racing cars [5]. In June 2018, Billy Monger drove a Formula 1 racing car for the first time when he tested the Sauber C30 based Heritage HF1-018 at the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby [6]. The car had been specially converted by TDF to match the hand controls present in the Carlin BRDC British Formula 3 car he races. A documentary feature about Mongers first Formula 1 drive was shown as part of Sky F1s coverage of the 2018 Austrian Grand Prix.

TDF are known to have technical partnerships with Fuchs Neue Technologien, Shiftec, IRacing, Haas Automation, Pakelo, Airshroud and Heritage F1.
