TSENG Ya-Chi (Chinese: 曾亞琪; born 1977 in Taiwan Taipei) is a Taiwanese artist. As a child, her parents opened a gallery, so she has been fascinated by art. Her paintings are just like the "Buddha" in Japanese culture, using lines to depict Buddha statues and "writing" Buddha statues to achieve purification. In her paintings, she uses the characteristics of "Accommodating Sineru" to make the Buddha monochromatic. The paint is used as an abstract spiritual space, and then the outline of Buddha, flowers or animals, and plants is carried out with freehand lines.[1] When watching her creation, you can freely wander the spiritual feeling between the picture and the thought through the vision.
Education[edit]
In 1996, she went to Japan to study Studied at Crafts Department at Osaka University of Arts, Japan, and in 2002 she studied Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design, New York. Later, she inhabited in Hong Kong in 2012 and returned to Taiwan in 2019. [2]
Art[edit]
With a background in graphic design, she is often able to use ingenuity when creating to increase the intriguing sense of interest in her work, but she is not too rigid and complete in design, because she likes rough and rough expressions. Like a human nature with seven emotions and six desires, just like the Buddha and Bodhisattva in her mind: "From a human point of view, their realm is not only high, but also so landing, with wisdom that transcends the world, but also has the compassion to care for the world. , Such a balance of tragic and intellectual, is very touching."
