Taiwan Surgical Corporation (Chinese: 台灣先進手術醫療器材股份有限公司), also known as twsc, is the medical device manufacturing company dedicated in multi-fire endoscopic clip applier for laparoscopic surgery in Taiwan, with its headquarters and factory located in the Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park, which is part of the Hsinchu Science and Industrial Park[3] in Zhubei City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Founded in Aril 15, 2011, twsc began as an original surgical device manufacturer, designing and manufacturing devices such as clip applier, trocar, and suction irrigation, which is made in Taiwan[4]. In 2012, twsc obtained its first approval from Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA, Chinese: 衛生福利部食品藥物管理署), and began marketing their devices in Taiwan[5]. In 2014, twsc obtained trocar[6] TFDA approval. In 2015, twsc obtained clip applier[7] and suction irrigation[8] TFDA approval. Later in 2015, twsc was issued United States FDA establishment registration[9] for their device and ISO 13485 certificates for facilities. In 2016, twsc got European Union CE marking certificates[10] for their device. In 2017, twsc launched its reusable clip applier with reusable handle and disposable cartridge[11], and joined MEDICA Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany[12]. In 2018, twsc joined Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai, UAE[13]
