The Tabnak is a news site that was launched in 2006 by Amir Ali Amiri and a group of her previous colleagues.[1][2][3][4]
History and profile[edit]
Sardar Amir Ali Amiri has a brilliant privilege. He worked as one of the members of the Policy Council and its Board of Trustees during the time of Mahmoud Sadeghi.[5] He said: "The leaven of the radiant mission is shared with reflection, and the leaven of this mission that we believe in is that we look at everything that is happening in the country from the perspective of the demands of the Islamic Revolution, the ideals of the Imam and the martyrs, and the values of the revolution. To the extent that these events are different from those ideals, they will be criticized by us.[1][2]
Is blocked[edit]
On February 8, 2011, the Tabnak website was removed from the reach of users by the order of the Tehran Prosecutor's Office. The publication of a number of audience comments under a published news that contained some insulting words towards the parliament and the government, the main reason for the blocking of the Tabnak site was stated. The website was unfiltered after 7 days, on February 15, 2011.[6]
Margins of published news[edit]
In a report on October 4, 2015, Tabnak publishes an interview of Sarina Babaei titled "The strange talents of a 10-year-old elite student" in which surprising claims (without citing any source or evidence) are made about the scientific achievements of this girl.[7] Later, based on the research conducted by Faktnameh and Didar news agency, all these claims are rejected.[8]
