Tainted Canvas is a 2021 Nigerian movie directed by Segilola Ogidan and produced by Orwi Manny Ameh.[1] It was shot in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. It addresses the issue of child sexual abuse.[2][1]
The film stars Kehinde Bankole, Tina Mba, Efa Iwara, Nonso Bassey and Segilola Ogidan.[2]
Synopsis
The film revolves around Morayo, an artist who, after recalling the childhood memories of her mother, takes a journey back to Nigeria where she will have to struggle to overcome her mental states, linked with the secret in her family. [3][2]
Premiere
The movie was officially premiered in collaboration with Alliance Française de Lagos and Igodo films on May 16, 2021.[1]
