The Taipei Economic and Trade Office in Surabaya or commonly abbreviated as TETO Surabaya; (traditional Chinese: 駐泗水印尼臺北經濟貿易代表處; simplified Chinese: 驻泗水印尼台北经济贸易代表处; pinyin: Zhù Sìshuǐ Yìnní Táiběi Jīngjì Màoyì Dàibiǎo Chù; Indonesian: Kantor Dagang dan Ekonomi Taipei Surabaya) is the representative office of the Republic of China in Indonesia, functioning as a de facto consulate general in the absence of diplomatic relations in Surabaya, Indonesia.[1]
The office is located at Jalan Indragiri No. 49, Darmo, Wonokromo, Surabaya. The diplomatic office was inaugurated in December 2015.[1]
History[edit]
On 18 December 2015, Taipei Economic and Trade Office in Surabaya was opened by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China, and started operating on 21 December 2015. Dean-Shiang Lin is the current director general of TETO Surabaya.[2]
