Tair Airways, was an airline in the Philippines. After over two months of deliberation at the Civil Aeronautics Board regarding the intent to operate as an Unscheduled International Carrier, they finally obtained a Temporary Operator’s Permit last October 27, 2006. Also, the Philippine Air Transportation Office has already granted them an Air Carrier Operating Certificate that has a 12-month validity starting October 28, 2006.[citation needed]
The flight certificate was valid until November 2008. They never had any aircraft, or at least none that were visible at Clark. They were planning to operate flights from Clark to Middle East destinations only. Staff were hired, and the flight attendants were trained. They were never paid, but were promised payment once operations started. Based on the training photographs, the flight attendants were being trained on plastic seats in a hall set in the configuration of an aircraft, not in an aircraft simulator. The website doesn't connect anymore, and contact with the company has completely ceased.[3]
