TalentPool is a London-based employment website, which uses technology to match job positions with candidates in the UK. [1]

History

TalentPool was founded by Tom Davenport and Andrew Lavelle in 2013 to help SMEs access the graduate market.[2] TalentPool's technology automates much of the selection and assessment process of candidates seen in standard recruitment practices by matching employers with candidates who meet their role's requirements.[2][3]

Formerly known as GradList, the company changed its name to TalentPool at the end of 2013.[1]

In 2016, TalentPool announced the appointment of Richard Boggis-Rolfe, chairman of Odgers Berndtson, as a Non-Executive Director.[4]

Services

Services for employers include use of the job matching algorithm, a pay-on-hire pricing option or an up-front fee option.[1]

Services for candidates include resume upload, custom profiles, email alerts and job search advice. In 2016, The Guardian reported that a quarter of a million candidates had been shortlisted by TalentPool for nearly 300 employers.[1]

Awards & Recognition

  • In 2016, TalentPool was shortlisted for the Recruiter Awards in the Recruitment Technology Innovation of the Year category.[5]
  • In 2017, TalentPool was named one of London's top 30 "tech start-ups to keep an eye on".[6]
