Talia Vanessa Grant (born 9 October 2001)[1][2] is an English actress, known for her role as Brooke Hathaway in the British soap opera, Hollyoaks.[4][5][6]

Life and career[edit]

Grant was born in Enfield, London in 2001.[1] Her parents are vocal coaches Carrie and David Grant, and her older sister is actress Olive Gray.[5] She also has a younger sister, Imogen and an adopted younger brother, Nathan.[7] She was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome in 2009, at the age of seven.[4][8]

Grant's first credited acting role is that of "Greta" in an episode of the sitcom series So Awkward.[3] In 2018, she began playing the role of Brooke Hathaway in the British soap opera Hollyoaks, making her the first autistic actress in a UK soap opera,[7] and the first BAME actor of any sex to play an autistic character in a mainstream drama.[8]
