Tall Tree and the Eye is a 2009 stainless steel sculpture designed and built by the British artist Anish Kapoor. It is currently located in the pond of Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain.[1]
It made its debut in an exhibition by the Royal Academy of Arts, London.[2] Guggenheim Bilbao acquired it in 2011 for €3.5 million (equivalent to €Error when using {{Inflation}}: |index=ES (parameter 1) not a recognized index. million in Error: undefined index "ES" when using {{Inflation/year}}.) after the success of a 2010 exhibition of his artwork.[3] It has since been installed on their back pond as part of their permanent collection.
