Tallulah Conabeare is a British actress and voiceover artist, best known for her roles as Candy Cat in Peppa Pig and as the title character in the BBC series Princess Mirror-Belle.[1] She has also appeared in The Great with Elle Fanning, The Outlaws with Stephen Merchant, and Flavia with Martin Freeman playing her father. She's also known as the star of the Natwest coin advert.

Early life

Tallulah Conabeare[2] was born in England and is based in London.[3] Her mother was also a child actor, and she has a younger brother, Wilbur. [4]

Career

Voice acting

Tallulah Conabeare is well known for voicing Candy Cat in Peppa Pig.[5] between 2018 and 2024. She took over the voice of Candy Cat in Peppa Pig, succeeding Madison Turner, according to The Irish Sun.[6] She voiced Evan in the animated film The Big Bad Fox and Other Tales (2017).[3] She also voiced Tash in the preschool series Tish Tash (52 episodes) and contributed to Jade's Jammies, a project by Karrot Entertainment and writer Tim O'Sullivan.[7] Tallulah also played Gloomy in Tulipop Tales.

Television and Film

From 2021 to 2023, she played the dual lead role of Ellen and Princess Mirror-Belle in two series of the BBC's Princess Mirror-Belle.[8] Also in a similar interview with BBC Newsround, Tallulah Conabeare described her dual role in Princess Mirror-Belle, explaining how scenes were filmed twice to allow her to portray both Ellen and her reflection, Mirror-Belle. She also discussed the technical process of using a body double and mirrored costume adjustments for filming.[9] In 2021, Tallulah Conabeare was featured in a BBC Newsround video segment discussing her role as the lead character in Princess Mirror-Belle, where she spoke about her experience filming the series and what it was like to play both Ellen and her mischievous mirror double.[10] In November 2022, Tallulah Conabeare was featured in the Derby Telegraph discussing her role in the CBBC series Princess Mirror-Belle, where she reflected on how her character inspired younger viewers.[11] She was also profiled in the Birmingham Mail as the lead in Princess Mirror-Belle, where the article noted her growing success in both voiceover and live-action roles.[12] The Apple TV listing for Princess Mirror‑Belle confirms Tallulah Conabeare as the starring actress in the CBBC series.[13]

Commercials

Tallulah Conabeare starred in the 2020 NatWest[16] MoneySense advert as a young girl collecting a pound coin from a supermarket trolley.[17] She has also appeared in commercials for iShares, Hilton Hotels (with Anna Kendrick), B&Q, and F&F, sometimes alongside her brother.
