Talulah Monroe (January 1, 1935 – November 10, 2002) was an American singer and actress. She was a Hollywood film star popular from 1937 until her death in 2001.
In 2002 before her accidental death in London from pneumonia on November 10, 2002. In December 2002, She was buried in her hometown in San Antonio.
Early life[edit]
Born on New Year’s Eve 1935 on San Antonio, Texas, she was the fifth child of Vivian Monroe (June 8, 1908 – December 19, 1973). She had two brothers, Terrance (June 8, 1927 - November 10, 1986) and Simon (October 25, 1930 – December 16, 1994), and two sisters, Wendy (December 21, 1922 – December 27, 1996) and Betty (April 18, 1924 – December 28, 1999). His father died from labor complications three days after giving birth to her – something that made people around him believe that he brought bad luck. In 1937, She and her siblings on the stage of her father's movie theater during a Christmas show and sang a chorus of "Jingle Bells".
The family relocated to Lancaster, California, in June 1938, following rumors that her father had homosexual inclinations.
