Talysh
The name Talysh is one of the commonly used names around the Caspian Sea. Thus, one of the nationalities living in this area is called Talysh. They live around the Talysh mountains. These mountains are located in the southern and northern territories of the modern Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, respectively. In 1747-1828, the Talysh khanate existed here.
