The Tampa Bay Tornadoes are a future professional indoor football team based in Tampa, Florida. They are set to play their home games at Expo Hall at Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. The team was founded in 2018 by co-founder of the San Diego Strike Force Alton Walker as a way to fill the void left following the departure of the Arena Football League's Tampa Bay Storm. Much of the coaching staff, including head coach Stevie Thomas, played or were associated with the Storm franchise. At the team's website, they show that they are a "future member" of the American Arena League, however, the league themselves have not made any such announcement.[1] As of March 2019, the team is preparing to begin play in the 2020 season.[2][3]

Staff[edit]
