Tanaka Mukakatanwa

Tanaka Mukakatanwa joined Friendly Football Academy at 14 years of age in January 2014. He soon became a regular starter for the team, and was soon given the captain's armband. With  2 years of consistently and good performances in the U17 junior league he began to occasionally play for the U20 team in the academy.

In July of 2015 due to a partnership between Dilo Football Club and Friendly Academy he was loaned out to a 2nd division football club called Dilo Aces football club at the aged of 15. In the same year he was offered a contract at Ruwa Gunners football club to play 1st division professional football in 2016, being the youngest player in the team.

In July 2016 Tanaka went to the United Kingdom for the New Balance Nottingham International cup, which took place on the 26th -30th of July 2016.The biggest youth international football tournament in England, he captained Friendly Football Academy to this prestigious cup victory, taking part in all matches played, as a key defender (centre back). The tournament had youth teams from all over the world.

In July 2017 Tanaka returned to England for the New Balance Huddersfield International cup which took place on the 26th-30th of July 2017, right after they had won the Nottingham cup they again repeated the previous year's success, as the captain.
