Tangieco
Tangieco or Tangie® is a zero-waste company based in Florida, USA. Created by Angie Ringler in 2013, Tangieco is in the zero-waste products business, offering eco-friendly cleaning solutions, including zero-waste shampoo & conditioner bars.
Angie Ringler [1] started the company in 2013 after she discovered that her laundry detergent gave her skin allergies, and the ingredients of the product were not clear enough for a consumer to make an informed decision.
In 2013, she started understanding the ingredients and chemicals used in traditional laundry detergents and decided to create her own laundry bar using baking soda. [2]
After a year of experimenting, her first product, the Tangie Laundry bar, was created, and she began Tangie LLC to educate consumers about plastic waste and harmful toxins found in our everyday personal care products.
The mission of Tangieco is to promote zero waste lifestyle and make the USA a plastic-free country by incorporating compostable packaging and chemical-free products in the US FMCG market.
Presently, Tangieco is a completely women-driven business focused on community building and eco-consciousness.
