Tangled is an upcoming American musical adventure fantasy comedy film, directed by Baz Luhrmann, produced by Michael De Luca and Kristin Burr and written by Ashleigh Powell. It is a live-action adaptation of the 2010 film of the same name.

In August 2023, a live-action adaptation of Tangled was announced, with Baz Luhrmann eyed to direct.[1] Fans have reportedly wanted Cher and Amanda Seyfried as Mother Gothel and Rapunzel.[2] That same month, Florence Pugh was reportedly eyed as a candidate for Rapunzel. [3] Later, Zachary Levi expressed interest in portraying Flynn Rider again.[4] In February 2024, Ashleigh Powell was announced as the writer of the film, and Michael De Luca and Kristin Burr were announced as producers.[5]
