Tani Yuuki (たにゆうき, Tani Yuuki, born November 9, 1998) is a Japanese male singer-songwriter from Chigasaki, Kanagawa.

Early Life and Education[edit]

He started music activities in August 2015 after receiving an acoustic guitar from his grandfather when he was a junior high school student. In 2018, he joined became a member of the online Japanese musical group "WHITEBOX". He graduated from vocational school in March 2019.

Career[edit]

After that, he started posting songs mainly on SNS such as TikTok and YouTube, and "Myra" posted in May 2020 has gained a lot of support from teens. It became a big hit with the total number of streaming playbacks exceeding 100 million times.^[1]^[2]. In November 2022, he was nominated for the 'Best Newcomer Award' during the 64th Japanese Record Awards (supported by the Japanese Composers Association)^[3].

Tani Yuuki's 2022 album W/X/Y was a huge hit among Generation Z and achieved 270 million streaming playbacks on TikTok^[4]
