Taom Chalk

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Taom chalk is a billiard chalk invention that reduces friction between the cue tip and the ball. Taom chalk, manufactured by Taom billiards, is the first chalk product in billiard sports that has been reported to minimize the kick problem previously thought to be caused by residue on the balls or by variation in table conditions..[1] Taom chalk´s compound creates a solid coating on the tip of the cue stick, which enables contact to the cue ball with minimum chalk residue on the ball and the table. The special compound also provides endurance for the chalk.[2] Taom chalk is an invention by Finnish innovator Toni Ursin, and it was introduced in autumn 2017. The chalk has its own separately allocated models for both snooker and pool.

Design[edit]

Taom chalk has a round shaped design that differs from the other products in the chalk market which is accustomed to the cube shaped product design.

Reception[edit]

Since its launch in autumn 2017, the chalk has been adopted by numerous players in the snooker world tour series. Among the supporters of Taom chalk have been snooker world champions Shaun Murphy and Mark Selby[3]
