Tarek El Deeb (Arabic: طارق الديب; born 13 May 1968) was appointed as Egypt 2021 World Men's Handball Championship Local Organizing Committee Deputy Director.[1] in March 2019 by the President of LOC Eng. Hicham Nasr.[2] The LOC Supreme committee chaired by Egyptian PM Mostafa Madbouly and Egyptian Sports Minister Dr. Ashraf Sobhi [3]
Career
El Deeb graduated from Ain Shams University faculty of law in 1991[4]. He joined CAF in September 1996 as Media officer, then as IT Director [5]. He[6] left CAF in May 2018 [7]after Previous CAF president Ahmad was elected in 2017[8].
He was appointed as Egypt 2021 LOC Deputy Director[9][10] for World Handball Championship with 32 participating teams from all over the world for the first time and the extra challenges due to COVID-19[11].
El Deeb has authored several novels in Arabic, such as "Room 311 Arabic: الغرفة ٣١١", "9 Months Arabic: ٩ شهور "[12] and "Me and MySoul Arabic: أنا وروحي"[13]
