Tasaki is an international pearl and diamond jeweller. It was established in 1954 and is one of the oldest jewellery brands in Japan. Tasaki operates over 100 retail stores in Japan and across Asia, as well as stores in Europe1. Tasaki will open its first flagship store in Europe in 2018. The store will be located on New Bond Street in London.2 /TASAKI & Co., Ltd. is headquartered in Kobe, Japan. 3

In 1994 Tasaki obtained the status of being the only Sightholder in Japan of the De Beers group, which means that Tasaki is Japan's premier raw diamond buyer with De Beers. Tasaki is also the world's top producer of Akoya pearls and the only Japanese jeweller to cultivate its own pearls. 4

Tasaki announced in March 2017 that it would delist from the Tokyo Stock Exchange in order to have more freedom to steer its business. They delisted through a management buyout. MBK Partners, a north Asia-based private equity company, has been hired to assist it. 5
