Tastytrade (stylized as tastytrade) is a financial media company based in Chicago. It is most known for broadcasting a live online network as well as owning and investing in several financial services companies.[1][2][3]

History

tastytrade was founded in 2011 by Tom Sosnoff, former floor trader and co-founder of the options trading platform, thinkorswim. In June of 2021, tastytrade was acquired for $1 billion by IG Group, a global derivatives trading firm.[4][5][6][7]

Network

The tastytrade network airs eight hours of free video content each market day, and has hosted over 100 educational shows for retail options and futures traders.[8][9]
