Tata Infotech (a subsidiary of Tata Group) is a limited liability corporation based in Mumbai, India with operations world-wide in the information technology sector. It also works in the education sector.[1] Founded in 1977 by the eponymous Tata brothers, it is most notable for its Unimatic software commissioned by United Airlines[2] which has been in operation since 1997 (and which failed on 8 August 2025, resulting in widespread flight disruption nationally).[3]
