TaxHawk, Inc. is an online tax preparation service. It was co-founded by Dane Kimber in 2001 and is an original member of the IRS Free File Alliance. [1][2] As of 2011, it was the fourth largest do-it-yourself tax preparation software in the United States.[1] It has about 25 employees.[3] TaxHawk also owns FreeTaxUSA, which offers an identical product and service.[2][4] Filing federal taxes with FreeTaxUSA is free for all incomes and supports major IRS forms and schedules.[5]
