TaxScouts is a Website that matches taxpayers with accountants for tax advice and annual self-assessment tax return preparation, filing and submission to Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC). The process is combined with a network of certified accountants, who also advise users on their personal income tax situation. [3]
TaxScouts is an HMRC-approved commercial software supplier of agent authorisation.[4]
The service is geared towards self-employed people, landlords, construction workers, people with foreign income and people earning a salary over £100,000, all of whom are required to do a Self Assessment tax return every year. [5]
Investors[edit]
TaxScouts has raised more than £6 million in investment from Seedcamp, Speedinvest, Octopus Ventures, Finch Capital and more. [6]
