History[edit]

The company's website was launched in 2008.[1] Taylor Robinson Music was featured on Season 5, Episode 24 of ABC's hit show Shark Tank in October of 2013.[2][3][4]

The company's motto, is "Learn to Play from the Heart."[5]

Founder and CEO[edit]

Founder Taylor Robinson completed his M.B.A. at Texas A&M-Commerce.[7] In the early 2000s, he performed with alternative rock band Fallen From the Nest, signed to RCA/Sony.[8][9] Unable to make enough money as a full-time musician, Robinson started teaching guitar lessons.[10] This evolved into the startup.
