"Te Deseo lo Mejor" (English: "I Wish You the Best") is a song by American singer Christina Aguilera. It was released by Sony Music Latin on July 1, 2022, as the first promotional single from their from Aguilera's second Spanish-launguage extended-play, La Tormenta (2022) and as the second promotional single from her ninth studio album Aguilera (2022).[citation needed] A remix of the track featuring an American singer Ariana Grande was released on July 8, 2022, as the final and second single from the EP, La Tormenta (2022) and as the fifth single from her ninth studio album Aguilera (2022), and as the lead single from Grande's upcoming seventh and first Spanish-language studio album.[page needed] It is Aguilera and Grande's second collaboration, following "Into You / Dangerous Woman" from also performed at The Voice season 10 released in 2016.[1]

Composition[edit]

"Te Deseo lo Mejor" is a reggaeton song, which lasts for a duration of two seconds and thirty six minutes. The song is also described as sultry tango-meets-urban collab where the ladys takes matters into her own hands.[page needed] It is written in the key of D Major or A Major, with a moderately fast tempo of 186 beats per minute.[2] In the chorus they sing: “I wish you the best, the best / That they love you as you deserve / And may you be as happy as me / So that you don't come back, don't come back”.[citation needed]
