Telecel Group is an international telecommunication company present in 20+ countries, operating mainly in Africa through development & acquisition of operators and service provider for mobile operators.[1][2]

Telecel is an international carrier service provider of Voice, Data, SMS, and IPTV.[3][4]
Telecel Global was established in 2007 as Exxon Telecom.[5][6] During the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain, NFS and Telecel Global announced their merger agreement.[7][8]
Telecel has prolonged experience in managing International Voice and SMS gateways of more than Mobile operators located mainly in Africa.[3] The company provides optimal telecommunication services for Mobile Network Operators, Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN), OTTs, and Wholesale Carriers with more than 300 global interconnections.[3]
Hugues Mulliez is the Group Chairman[2], Nicolas Bourg is the Managing Partner, and Mohamad Damush is the Group CEO at Telecel Group.[9]

Telecel Mobile[edit]
Telecel is a MVNO and MVNE operator in South Africa, offering 2G/3G/4G and WIMAX services.[10][11][12][13][5]
Telecel Play[edit]
Telecel Play is a one stop-shop Mobile Application offering several services including but not limited to: RCS, VOD and E/M-commerce all using one single sign-on feature.[14][15][16]
Telecel Global[edit]
Telecel Global is an international voice, data and SMS service provider.[8][6] Telecel Global was founded in 2007 through the bringing together of NFS, the holding company of Telecel and what was Exxon Telecom.[6][17][18]
Africa Startup Initiative Program[edit]
Telecel Group launched Africa Startup Initiative Program (ASIP) at the mobile World Congress 2019, in Barcelona, Spain.[19][20]
ASIP is a startup accelerator CSR Program, which aims to contribute in a meaningful way to the African Continent by support young startups whose innovative ideas are creating a difference in their communities. The program exposes startups to the International Organizations to bridge the knowledge and to allow them to attract partners that can add value to their Startups [20][21]
At a panel in the MWC 2019, Telecel Group revealed that a $10 million fund to increase the contribution of mobile operators in supporting local businesses.[20][21]
Telecel Central African Republic[edit]
Telecel Central African Republic is a mobile telecommunications operator present in the Central African Republic since 1994, It is the oldest and the first mobile operator in the country by the number of customers.[22]
Telecel Limba[edit]
Telecel Group purchased Gibralatar-based mobile network operator (MNO) Limba on May 16, 2019.[23][20][24][25][16] Limba provides fixed services in Gibraltar and is the second Mobile operator in the area (2G/3G/4G licenses).[16]
The acquisition is part of a strategy to create an international hub to digitize businesses in Africa and to widen their footprint.[24][16]
