Teliffant was a Welsh-language sketch television show for children by BBC Wales that ran from 1972 to 1980.
It was typical for the appearance of the characters Sir Wynff ap Concord y Bos and Plwmsan. Both have appeared many times on children's programs (including animated ones) since the end of Teliffant. Syr Wynff's mocking phrase at Plwmsan, "a stupid funnel" and "a stupid funnel" became very popular as a result of the series.
In 1979, the Welsh Film Board produced three films showing the adventures of Wynff and Plwmsan, and the last film was called Teliffant.
