Tellent
Tellent is a human resources technology company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It provides cloud-based software for recruitment, core HR management, and employee performance evaluation.[1]
History
Tellent was formed through a series of mergers and acquisitions.[2] In 2022, Javelo, a French performance management software firm, joined the group.[3] In September 2022, the group acquired KiwiHR, a German software provider for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and named it Tellent to unify the three entities. Perry Oostdam was appointed as the initial chief executive officer.[4] In May 2024, Moritz Kothe succeeded interim CEO Robbert Flipsen.[5] In 2025, Tellent renamed its platforms, Recruitee as Tellent Recruitee and KiwiHR and Javelo as TellentHR, and acquired FunnelBridge, a developer of WhatsApp-based hiring tools.[6]
Operations
Tellent operates from its headquarters in Amsterdam, with additional offices in Paris, Vienna, and Poznań.[4][1]
Platforms
Tellent comprises several software platforms:
- Tellent Recruitee: Founded in 2015 in the Netherlands, it functions as an applicant tracking system (ATS) for job posting, candidate sourcing, reporting, and pipeline management.[1]
- TellentHR: It is focused on administrative HR tasks such as time tracking, absence management, payroll, and whistleblowing, and performance management, including appraisals, feedback, and objective tracking (OKRs). Originally known as KiwiHR and Javelo, it was renamed and subsequently integrated into the core Tellent HR product suite.[1]
