Tembagapura Sport Hall (Indonesian: Gelanggang Olahraga Tembagapura) is a sports arena located in Tembagapura, Mimika, Papua. Freeport Indonesia provides a soccer field and an indoor sports center name Tembagapura Sport Hall for Freeport mining employees.[1]
Facilities[edit]
Inside the Tembagapura Sport Hall there are several sports arenas. Starting from basketball, sepak takraw, volleyball, table tennis, to badminton. In fact, the Tembagapura Sporthall is also often used as a venue for sports tournaments between Freeport Indonesia workers as well.[2]
Transportation[edit]
It is possible to reach Tembagapura by traveling from Jakarta to Timika by flight. The flight from Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta to Mozes Kilangin Airport in Timika, then continued by helicopter to Tembagapura.[3]
