Temisan Emmanuel (born 16 October 1996), also known as Taymesan is a Nigerian actor,[1] model,[2] host,[3] podcast host, influencer[4] and television personality. He is the host of the renowned podcast TeawithTay.[5] He has acted in some movies, such as Glamour Girls,[6] Smart Money Woman and The Fate of Alakada.[7]
Early life
Emmanuel was born and raised in Warri, Delta State, in a family of six children. His parents separated after he was born, and he was raised by his grandmother.[8][9]
He studied at the University of Lagos, where he obtained a diploma in law and a degree in history and strategic studies. Emmanuel started modelling at the age of 15, where he joined Few Model Management.[10]
Career
In 2015, Emmanuel began his career as a model and graced magazine covers and editorials.[11] He has since been featured in ad campaigns for brands like Lagos Fashion and Design Week, ARISE Magazine, Bellanaija Style and Thisday Style.[12] On May 25 2020, He was announced as season's hosts of the fifteenth edition of the Future Awards Africa.[13][14] On 11 September 2022, Lipton confirmed its intent to support and partner with the second season of TeawithTay podcast.[15]
The podcast has featured guest Nigerian celebrities including Toke Makinwa, Davido, Yemi Alade, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Hilda Baci, Mayorkun, Blaqbonez, Spyro, Simi, Tobi Bakre, Denrele, MI Abaga, Oxlade and others.[15][16] On 24 June 2022, Emmanuel featured in a Netflix released movie titled Glamour Girls, a remake of 1994 blockbuster.
