Template:ISO 639 name bn is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|bn| some text in Bengali}} wraps the text with <span lang="bn"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Bengali-language text. Also available is {{Lang-bn |some text in Bengali}} which displays as Bengali: some text in Bengali.
- {{Link language|bn}}, {{bn icon}}, and redirect {{bn}}, displays the language of an external link. These templates will add articles to Category:Articles with Bengali-language external links.
- {{R from other language|bn|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Bengali-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|bn}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Bengali-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
