Usage

Template:ISO 639 name ja is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.

{{Lang|ja| some text in Japanese}} wraps the text with <span lang="ja"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Japanese-language text. Also available is {{Lang-ja |some text in Japanese}} which displays as Japanese: some text in Japanese.
{{Link language|ja}}, {{ja icon}}, and redirect {{ja}}, displays the language of an external link. These templates will add articles to Category:Articles with Japanese-language external links.
{{R from other language|ja|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Japanese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
{{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|ja}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Japanese-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
