This template may be included on talk pages or editnotices to alert other editors that the associated article is written in Indian English. Usually, the article either has evolved using predominantly this variety or has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation that uses this variety.
Talk page usage
To use this template on an article's talk page, place {{Indian English}} near the top of the talk page. This produces the following:

Editnotice usage
To use this template on an article's editnotice, {{Indian English|form=editnotice}} is placed (without |form=editnotice if the template name ends with "editnotice") on the editnotice template. This produces the following:

All users can create editnotices for their user and talk pages but only administrators and template editors can create or edit editnotices in other namespaces.
