Template:Semitic languages
Documentation
By default, this template will display as collapsed on article pages, and when opened will display only the three top-level groups: "East Semitic languages", "West Semitic and Central Semitic languages" and "South Semitic languages". To force the template to open, use |state=uncollapsed
For the template to display, when opened, the whole of a single subgroup, use one of the following:
{{Semitic languages|East}}or{{Semitic languages|expanded = East}}{{Semitic languages|South}}or{{Semitic languages|expanded = South}}
Initial visibility: currently defaults to autocollapse
To set this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:
|state=collapsed:{{Semitic languages|state=collapsed}}to show the template collapsed, i.e., hidden apart from its title bar|state=expanded:{{Semitic languages|state=expanded}}to show the template expanded, i.e., fully visible|state=autocollapse:{{Semitic languages|state=autocollapse}}
If the |state= parameter in the template on this page is not set, the template's initial visibility is taken from the |default= parameter in the Collapsible option template. For the template on this page, that currently evaluates to autocollapse.
