Tennis Association of Maldives
Tennis Association of Maldives (TAM) is the governing body for the sport of tennis in Maldives[1]. The organisation exists to promote tennis and to conduct domestic and international tournaments on behalf of the Maldives, including the National Tennis Championships and the Association Tennis Championships and also facilitate partner tournaments such as the one organised by Maldives Tennis Academy the Dhiraagu Maldives Tennis Open.
Tennis was registered in the Maldives from around 1983[1], but it was a sport that was played by some people in the country even years before that. The organisation is based in the National Tennis Centre in the capital city of the country — Male'.
