Tesseract (natively Tesseract Group Oyj) is a Finnish internationally operating cryptocurrency financial technology company founded in 2017. Tesseract's headquarters are in Helsinki, Finland..[2] In the beginning of 2021, Tesseract employed less than 10 people[3] and had over 50 clients[1]. Tesseract is a privately held limited liability company whose investors include Taaleri, Estlander, and Icebreaker[4]. The company is regulated as a virtual asset service provider by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority[4]. The company announced a $25M Series A funding round led by Augmentum Fintech on 21 June 2021.[5][6]
