Teufels Großmutter (Devil's Grandmother) is a twelve-part German television series which ran for one season in 1986. Scripted by Justus Pfaue it was broadcast in 1986 on ZDF's early evening programme.
The series is about the worries and joys of the three-generation Teufel family in Berlin, who run a boatyard. The head of the Teufel family is grandma Dorothea Teufel, played by Brigitte Horney, who is both spirited and assertive. The male lead, Dorothea's ex-husband Friedrich-Heinrich was embodied by Peter Pasetti. Loni von Friedl and Gerd Baltus are featured as daughter Hetty and son-in-law.
The series has been available on DVD since July 2007.
