Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code is the statutory law enacted by the Texas state legislature to regulate permitting and licensing for the sale of alcoholic drinks, regulations for the use of alcoholic drinks, and establish the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, which enforces these codes. The code was enacted in 1977 by Texas HB 815, 65th R.S. as part of the ongoing revision process begun in 1963.
