THANKAPPAN PILLAI was an Indian politician and social worker who was a member of the 2nd Kerala Legislative Assembly representing Chathannoor assembly constituency.He was the first MLA of Chathannoor assembly constituency.He was an Independent candidate who defeated P. Ravindran with a margin of 768 votes.[1][2][3]
