The 2000s is an upcoming seven-part documentary miniseries about the 2000s[1]. It is set to premiere on July 8, 2018, at 9:00 p.m. ET on CNN[2].
CNN greenlit the series in 2017, as a follow-up to the predecessors The Sixties, The Seventies, The Eighties, and The Nineties.
The series will "explore the cultural and political milestones of the decade, including technological triumphs like the iPhone and social media, President George W. Bush’s war on terror and response to Hurricane Katrina, Barack Obama’s presidential election and the financial crisis, hip-hop’s rise to dominance and a creative renaissance in television".
