Originally the creators had planned on making a Peppy and Buskum 2.5 that was to be an adventure musical set in India, but this never got off the ground, instead the third and final peppy and buskum film to be was made with the longest running time to date. Taking place immediately were The Mummies Tomb left off, Peppy and Buskum are seperated after Buskum falls asleep on the plane and Peppy gets dragged into an all new adventure in persuit of the mysterious Silver Skull.

It follows the birth of Peppy and Buskum to their very first adventure. An after credit scene reveals Peppy commiting suicide thus ending the adventures and lives of our two heroes.
