The Bay Club at Mattapoisett is a private country club and golf course located in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts. Designed by Brad Faxon & Brad Booth, the Bay Club has hosted the MGA Senior Championship and the AJGA Championship. The Bay Club Golf Course is most noted for its lush green British style fescue.

History[edit]

The Bay Club at Mattapoisett is located on the southeastern coast of Massachusetts at 63 Country Road in Mattapoisett. The 18 championship hole course was carved out of a forest of untouched land a stone’s throw to Buzzards Bay. Faxon & Booth were able preserved 93% of the existing forest when creating the 7041 yard championship course. The Bay Club is one of only sixty six golf courses worldwide, and the only course in Massachusetts to have received the National Audubon Society International’s Silver Signature Sanctuary status for its comprehensive management plan to sustain the natural environmental habitat. Today The Bay Club is a member of both the USGA and the Massachusetts Golf Association, and actively participates as a host club for various MGA events.
