The Blood Mirror is a 2016 epic fantasy novel by New York Times Bestselling author, Brent Weeks. It is the fourth book in his Lightbringer series following The Black Prism, The Blinding Knife and The Broken Eye.[1] As with the prevorious titles in the series, the novel is continued to be written in the third person perspective, shifting between several characters placed in the Lightbringer series.

The Blood Mirror continues to follow the events in which characters estabilished themselves in earlier entries progressed into. As Teia continues her work for Murder Sharp, she starts to question where her loyalties are truly placed while performing various tasks. At the same time Karris tries to fit into her new role as one of Chromeria's most important figure, while trying to outmaneuver her father-in-law. The reappearance of someone from her past further complicates things for her. The Prism, Gavin is still missing, with the outside world unaware of his whereabouts. At the same time, Kip continues with The Mighty, a group of Blackguards, who find themselves at sea after managing to escape from Chromeria. The youngest Guile finds himself in a myriad of new multiple new roles which are very much alien to him. The winds of war continue to move closer and closer to Chromeria itself, while the political situation in capital change from both external and internal machinations of multiple parties.
