The Catherine Cook School
The Catherine Cook School is an independent school in Chicago, Illinois with over 480 students in grades preschool through eighth. Known as the Melrose School until September 1992, the school changed its name to The Catherine Cook School when it moved to its current location at 226 West Schiller in the Old Town neighborhood, in honor of Catherine Cook Anagnost, the late mother of the building's former owner.[clarification needed]
Students in the school use tablet computers in addition to regular school supplies.[1] Dr. Michael Roberts is Head of School.
