The Chagrin Valley Times
The Chagrin Valley Times is a Northeast Ohio weekly newspaper covering the eastern suburbs of Cleveland in Cuyahoga and Geauga counties. The newspaper is published every Thursday and was founded in 1971.[1][2][3]. It is produced at 525 E Washington St., Chagrin Falls, OH 44022[4][5].
The Chagrin Valley Times was founded by the late Howard K. Douthit, Jr. and is currently owned by H. Kenneth Douthit III[6]. Douthit Communications Inc. owns a total of 13 publications[7][8]. The current editor is Ellen J. Kleinerman[2]. Current reporters include Brian Doering[9], Julie Hullett, Sue Reid[10], Alec Sapolin[11] and Daniel Sherriff[12].
The Chagrin Valley Times has won awards from the Society of Professional Journalists[13], the Ohio News Media Association and the Ohio Newspaper Association[14]
