The Collaboration (潮音战纪/ChaoYinZhanJi/CYZJ) is a 2018 Chinese television show featuring artists from South Korea and China. Different from the last season, there is no Team China and Team Korea.
Contents
The ten contestants will participate and form different pairs each round. Producing, rearranging and performing different songs together. A sound panel voted on each performance presented by the pairs to determine the winner of each round. As the season went on, pairs could be eliminated from the show.

Round 1: Individual Performances

Based on the number of ‘retweets’ on a promotional video each artist posted on their weibo, each person chooses what order to perform.

Round 2 - First partner Performance
(Ep. 3-4)
Based on the number of votes from the audience in round 1 (1 vote = 1000 points), starting from number 1 they may choose a partner to perform with. Ranks 1-5 have one chance to reject an offer.

For this round the mission is "attack the hearts of young girls". Out of 500 audience members there are 100 "sound panelists" who have experience in music theory. The ranking is decided through the votes from the 100 audience panelists (multiplied by 140,000) along with the contestants individual DOKI (online votes from 12. - 16. june) votes.

Round 3 - Second partner Performance

The top two teams have priorities in picking their partners for the next performances.

For this round the mission is "Soundtrack Attack". The teams choose one of three soundtracks, every track can be chosen by two teams. The top team chooses first and no other team can choose the track they chose. Every team sets a target score. The ranking is decided by the individual total from the last round, the votes by the sound panelists (multiplied by 165,000) and the online DOKI votes for this round. Plus or minus the groups target score and minus individual weekly convenience store expenses from the total store. The group in first place will receive audience votes as well as their target score times two. The group in second place will receive audience votes plus their target score. The groups in third and fourth place will only receive audience votes. The group in fifth place will not receive audience votes, target score will then be deducted from the total.

Round 4 - Third partner Performance
The top two teams have priorities in picking their partners for the next performances. For the rest of the performances these teams will stay together.

- Samuel chooses Zhennan
- Longfei chooses Jony J
- Junhui is automatically pairs with Yanan
At this point Jony J decides to leave the competition, due to not being allowed to form a team with Gong Ge. Shortly after, Gong Ge decides to leave too. Now that 2 members are missing Minghao and Longfei can both choose a partner from outside the program to form a team.
